Actor Ayushmann Khurrana recited a heart-wrenching poem amid the ongoing outrage against the rape and murder of a 31-year-old trainee doctor in Kolkata. Several celebs such as Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra, Vijay Varma, and others have demanded justice against the brutality of the incident.
Ayushmann was one of the first celebs to stand in solidarity with the ongoing protests in the Kolkata rape-murder horror. He recited a poem, titled ‘Kaash Main Bhi Ladka Hoti (I wish I were a boy)’, that will leave you shaken.

On August 9 (Friday), a 31-year-old post-graduate trainee (PGT) doctor was found dead inside the government-run RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata. A civic volunteer was arrested on August 10 in connection with the case. The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday transferred the probe into the murder and rape of a trainee doctor in Kolkata to the CBI. Post-mortem reports suggested that she was gang-raped.
