Chattisgarh are in a commanding position on Day 1 of their Buchi Babu Trophy clash against Jammu and Kashmir. The team has their noses in front as J&K are trailing by 249 runs with eight wickets left in their first innings. Ayush Pandey’s hundred at the top laid the platform for them, after which skipper Khare chipped in with a handy 65-run knock.
Madhya Pradesh scored 225 for eight against Jharkhand on the back of half-centuries from Arham Aquil and Shubham S Kushwah. Ishan Kishan made his comeback to red-ball cricket and took three excellent catches behind the stumps.
Railways dominated Gujarat on Day 1 as they finished at 429 for six. Pratham Singh and Vivek Singh’s twin centuries helped Railways dictate terms in Salem.
In the other match, Haryana got themselves up to 288 for six. Dheeru Singh stayed unbeaten on 130 and would be looking to add to his tally. Nishant Sindhu also made 91 runs.
