As he was being interviewed about his choice of phone, his mother explained the situation: “I sell flowers outside a temple, and my son hasn’t eaten anything in three days because he wanted an iPhone for himself.”

Faced with her son’s refusal to eat, the woman eventually relented and gave him the money to buy the phone. However, she did not let the situation pass without a challenge.

She urged her son to earn the same amount of money spent on the phone and return it to her.
