After weeks of leaks, the iQOO Z9s will finally launch in India in less than two days. The launch event is set for August 21 and the new mid-range iQOO phones will be available for purchase via Amazon. Ahead of the official event, the e-commerce platform has revealed full list of specifications of the upcoming iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro smartphones. The company has also hinted in its teasers that the prices of the new phones could be set under Rs 25,000 in India. Here is everything to know.

The iQOO Z9s is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. The smartphone has a 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED display. The company revealed that the new iQOO phone is also an IP64 rated for dust and water-resistant. It features a 5,500mAh battery. The information for the charging speed is currently unknown but we do know that the brand will bundle a charger in the retail box.

In terms of photography, the iQOO Z9s is also confirmed to feature a dual-camera rear setup. It includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 OIS primary camera and a 2-megapixel portrait camera. Some of the photography features are 4K video OIS, AI Photo Enhance for blurry images, and AI Erase to remove unwanted objects from photos.

The iQOO Z9s Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Under the hood, there is also a 5,500mAh battery, but with the added benefit of 80W fast charging. The Pro variant also packs a 120Hz 3D curved display with a peak brightness of 4,500nits.

Camera-wise, it shares the same primary camera as the Z9s. At the back, you will see a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 OIS sensor, which is accompanied by an additional 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It includes the same AI camera features as well. The more expensive model is IP64 rated for protection against dust and water splashes.

A fresh teaser image shared by the company reveals that the iQOO Z9s series will be priced under Rs 25,000. This is written at the bottom of the official image, but it even suggests that this could be changed until the launch. Since the teaser says that the upcoming iQOO phones will be priced under Rs 25,000, this suggests that the Pro could be priced in a similar range. The standard, on the other hand, could be priced at around Rs 20,000. But, nothing is confirmed yet and we will have better clarity at the launch event.
