New Delhi: MedLern and NATHEALTH have introduced the Digital Health Master Class (DHMC), a workshop series aimed at encouraging the adoption of digital technology in hospitals across India. The program, developed by the Koita Foundation and PwC, will begin in cities like Hyderabad, Indore, Raipur, and Nagpur, eventually expanding to over 50 locations.
The course will empower leaders to make strategic digital decisions that help make hospital operations efficient, enhance patient care, achieve growth ambitions and improve financial performance.
The workshop series comprehensively addresses essential aspects of digital transformation in healthcare, including an introduction to cutting-edge digital health technologies and their applications, strategic insights into how digital adoption can drive healthcare transformation, practical guidance for initiating digital health implementation, and effective leadership strategies for ensuring successful and seamless digital transformation.
Deepak Sharma, Co-Founder & CEO of MedLern, said: “The benefits of digital are usually long term and there is inadequate information – leading to risk apprehensions. The comprehensive program will also offer ongoing support for accessing resources and tools to help hospital leaders successfully realize their digital strategies.”
By adopting platforms such as HMIS, EMR, telemedicine, patient portals, physician portals etc. hospitals can drive operational efficiency while reducing costs, unlocking new revenue streams, and significantly enhancing the quality of patient care and overall experience. Additionally, these systems streamline administrative workflows, making hospital operations more seamless and effective. Importantly, they also enable smooth integration with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), further aligning healthcare facilities with India’s national digital health objectives.
Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Secretary-General of NATHEALTH, said: “Digital transformation is no longer an option but a critical necessity for Indian healthcare providers. The DHMC workshops serve as a pivotal initiative to empower Indian hospitals with the tools and knowledge to harness technology effectively, driving enhanced patient care and sustainable growth. This collaboration aligns with NATHEALTH’s vision for ‘Visit Bharat 2047,’ ensuring a healthier, more sustainable future for everyone.”
This initiative is aimed at equipping healthcare leaders with the knowledge and resources needed to navigate the evolving digital landscape and achieve their organizational goals.
