NEET UG 2024 counselling registration for Round 1 begins, click for link

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened the registration for NEET UG 2024 counselling. This counselling process is essential for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing programmes across India.

Eligible candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2024 must register on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in, to participate in the seat allotment process.

The first round of NEET UG 2024 counselling has begun with participating institutes verifying the tentative seat matrix on August 14-15, 2024.

Candidates can register and make payments for this round between August 14 and August 20, 2024.

CHOICE FILLING AND SEAT ALLOTMENT

Once registered, candidates can fill in and lock their preferred choices of colleges and courses from August 16 to August 20, 2024.

It is crucial to finalise these selections between 4 pm and 11:55 pm on August 20.

Seat allotment processing will take place on August 21-22, 2024, with the results announced on August 23, 2024.

REPORTING TO ALLOTTED COLLEGES

Candidates who secure a seat in the first round must report to their respective colleges between August 24 and August 29, 2024, to complete their admission formalities.

Verification of the data for joined candidates by the institutes will occur on August 30-31, 2024, followed by data sharing with the MCC.

ROUND 2 AND BEYOND

The second round of NEET UG 2024 counselling will commence on September 4, 2024.

The counselling process includes three rounds and a stray vacancy round, covering 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats, central and deemed universities, private colleges, Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) institutes, AIIMS, and JIPMER.
