After hoisting the National flag at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan on Independence Day, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar attended a flag hoisting ceremony in Danapur. The event was marked by a special interaction between the Chief Minister and a 69-year-old resident, Ramashish Ram, who had the honor of hoisting the flag in the locality.

Ramashish Ram is the oldest resident of Mahadalit Tola in Danapur on the outskirts of Patna.

During his address, Nitish Kumar turned to Ramashish Ram and enquired about his age. Upon learning that Ramashish was 69 years old, the Chief Minister expressed surprise, commenting that he had expected Ramashish to be older.

“You are just 69? Then why do you look so haggard? Look at me, I am 74″, exclaimed Kumar.

Nitish Kumar then urged Ramashish to stay strong and active. He advised him to engage in physical activities, suggesting that maintaining an active lifestyle would improve his health and well-being.

He also advised Ram to get physically active, saying “Look at me. Nobody can guess my age, given the robustness of my physical health”.
