Pakistan are set to face Bangladesh in a 2-match Test series starting Wednesday, 21 August. The Shan Masood-led team would hope to change their recent fortunes at home after not winning against New Zealand, Australia and England. The Pakistan side have opted for an all-pace attack for the first Test match and are expected to pepper the Bangladesh batters with some high-intensity fast bowling.
Bangladesh on the other hand would hope to script history at the Rawalpindi, given they have not won a single Test match against Pakistan in the 13 previous outings. Bangladesh are known to be a wily side at home conditions, but it is yet to be seen how the team performs away from home – in the punishing conditions of Pakistan – where bowlers do not get a lot of help for the majority of the game.
