Vinesh Phogat will return from Paris and land in New Delhi on Saturday at 10 am, fellow wrestler Bajrang Punia said in a social media post on Wednesday. Vinesh left the Games Village on Monday but did not return home even though the verdict on her appeal against disqualification was pending. The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) verdict was expected to be out on Tuesday. However, an ad-hoc panel of the CAS deferred the verdict until Friday, August 16.
Bajrang Punia shared a poster on social media, announcing the details of her arrival and celebrations that have been planned along her route on Saturday, August 17.
