New Delhi: Park Hospital’s Palam Vihar branch, established in 2021 and part of the Park Group of Hospitals, has developed into a facility offering advanced medical services. Originally a basic facility, it has seen substantial upgrades in infrastructure, medical equipment, and staff expertise to support improved patient care.
This progress has been led by Dr. (Brig.) Satish Chandra Mishra, CEO of the Palam Vihar branch, who has over 38 years of medical experience and serves as Chairman of Cardiac Science for the group.
The cardiology team, under Dr. Mishra’s leadership offers personalised cardiac care using cutting-edge technologies, including complex interventions for both adults and children. These include angioplasty with rotablation, intravascular lithotripsy (IVL), and advanced coronary imaging (IVUS & OCT). The team also performs non-surgical valve replacements (TAVI) and uses Leadless Pacemakers (MICRA).
A 24/7 Cath Lab ensures immediate treatment for heart attack patients. (Primary PCI) Additionally, a dedicated stroke unit effectively manages complex surgeries and provides optimal stroke care.
The bariatric surgery program has achieved impressive results, with patients experiencing an average weight loss of 6-7 kg shortly after surgery, reflecting a comprehensive approach to weight management.
Park Hospital has also launched a specialised kidney transplant program. This program ensures state-of-the-art care for patients with end-stage renal disease, with a multidisciplinary team focusing on comprehensive evaluations and post-transplant care.
