Actor Shraddha Kapoor recently narrated a hilarious incident from the shooting of her latest release Stree 2. She revisited her encounter with the monkeys who entered the hotel where the film’s cast was staying during the shoot.

Shraddha, who was carrying snacks from home to the shoot of Stree 2, had placed them in a corner of her room. “I made a food corner in my room and placed the snacks I was carrying there. Nobody was there besides us in the hotel, so I kept the door of the room open. Kaun hi aayega? Lekin fir bandar aa gaye (I thought who would come, but then the monkeys arrived).”

Shraddha added that the monkeys took the bhakarwadi packet she had brought from home. “They entered the room as if it was their room,” said the actor. Shraddha even joked that the monkeys were “professional thieves” and knew how to carry that heavy packet of snacks.

She concluded by saying in Hindi, “Stree 2 aur bandaron ka saamna hogaya wahan pe (It was like an encounter of Stree 2 and monkeys).”

Stree 2 also stars Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in the lead roles. The film has created a storm at the box office. It has already earned around Rs 150 crore and is on its way to entering the Rs 200 crore club.

The film has mostly received good reviews. IndiaToday.in’s review of the film read, “It is funny, has some good scares, and is a step forward for the franchise. While Hollywood boasts of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), our made-in-India SCU (Stree Cinematic Universe) also has great potential.”

Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik, is a sequel to the 2018 film Stree.
