The Supreme Court has taken suo motu cognisance of the rape and murder case in Kolkata involving a trainee doctor.
A three judge bench, comprising Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra will hear the matter on Tuesday.
