In a heart-wrenching turn of events, a young girl in Telangana’s Nirmal district on Sunday was seen asking for monetary help after her mother died.
The girl was seen seeking financial assistance from neighbours in her village, so that she could perform the last rites of her mother, who took her own life.
Earlier, the girl’s father had passed away due to illness. Unable to cope with the ensuing financial hardships, her mother committed suicide by hanging herself.
Struck by the double tragedy, the girl was left with no choice but to seek help from the villagers to perform the final rites of her mother.
The villagers, moved by the tragedy that struck the girl’s family, then came forward to offer their support with whatever they could.
Meanwhile, Bharat Rashtra Samiti leader KT Rama Rao responded to the developments in Bell Tharoda village of Tanur Mandal and promised assistance to the girl as soon as possible.
“I’ve spoken to our BRS leaders of Mudhole constituency as soon as I saw this video (of the girl begging). They will attend to the young girl immediately”, KTR said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
