A Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) bus conductor helped deliver a baby on board a bus on Monday morning after the woman went into labour.

The woman, identified as Sandhya, was travelling to Wanaparthy in Mahabubnagar district to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with her family. As the bus approached Nachahalli, she suddenly went into labour.

G Bharathi, the woman conductor, stopped the bus near Nachahalli when she noticed Sandhya in pain.

With the help of a nurse, who was also on the bus, Bharathi assisted in the delivery of a healthy baby girl.

Both mother and child were taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance and are reported to be in good condition.

TGSRTC officials praised Bharathi for her quick thinking and actions.
