Southern Brave and Oval Invincibles are all set to take part in the final of the Hundred Men’s 2024 competition on Sunday, August 18. The iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London will host the contest.

The Invincibles had a stupendous run in the league stage as they finished on top of the table. The team, captained by Sam Billings, finished on top of the table with 12 points and a net run rate of +1.181 thanks to wins in six out of eight matches in the tournament. They will go into the final after losing to the Trent Rockets by six wickets at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

The Brave, on the other hand, had to fight harder. They sneaked past Northern Superchargers on their way through to the playoffs after both teams were locked on 11 points. In the Eliminator, they beat the Birmingham Phoenix after the match at the Kennington Oval in London went right into the Super Over.

Jofra Archer was the hero of the match after he gave away only seven runs in the one-over eliminator. Tymal Mills also contributed heavily by picking up the crucial wickets of Jacob Bethell, Jamie Smith and Benny Howell. Both the Brave and the Invincibles have won the trophy once and would be looking to add another to their kitty.
