There was a huge commotion at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital when an angry mob stormed the premises of the medical facility and vandalised the emergency ward.

The protesters, who had gathered to hold an overnight vigil seeking justice for the trainee doctor who was raped and killed at RG Kar hospital days ago, smashed chairs, broke almirahs inside the ward. They also vandalised police vehicles when outside the premises. 

To bring things under control, the police resorted to lathi charge and also fired tear gas shells to disperse the huge mob that had gathered at RG Kar hospital.
