India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah is known for his unorthodox bowling action, which has managed to baffle batters around the world. A young girl took the internet by storm with her imitation of Bumrah’s bowling action. The video of the girl bowling in a similar fashion like Bumrah is going viral on social media. The fans were impressed with the young girl’s imitation of the Indian bowler’s unique bowling action. She was in her school uniform and emulated the short run-up, fast arm movement in the nets, which has been the trademark of Bumrah’s bowling action.
A few weeks ago, a Pakistani kid went viral on social media for his near-perfect replication of Bumrah’s action. The young talented child also garnered praise from former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram. Bumrah, one of the world’s best pacers, has inspired many aspiring pacers worldwide. From Pakistan to now India, the young girl’s imitation has struck a particular chord with fans and cricketing communities alike.

Bumrah’s much-deserved break
The star India pacer has been in a league of his own as the 30-year-old played a key role in India’s triumph in the T20 World Cup 2024. Bumrah was awarded as the Player of the Tournament for his exceptional performance throughout the tournament. He showcased his bowling prowess by picking 15 wickets in just eight matches at a staggering economy rate of 4.17.
Bumrah has been on a long and a rather much-deserved break after the T20 World Cup and missed out from the Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka series. India’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah could be further rested for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The ace speedster is expected to make a comeback for India during the three-match Test series against New Zealand, which will begin on October 16.
Bumrah, alongside R Ashwin, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will not feature in the domestic tournament which will witness many other key players taking part.
